VESSEL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

This system provides information on vessels transiting the harbour such as cargo on-board, duration point of port call and the vessel's details.
VTMS attends pilot’s with accurate information on the vessel's position and the density of traffic converging on the same destination whilst enhancing passage planning.

NAVIGATIONAL AIDS

KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT


The DVOR/DME VKL project for Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCA) was the inaugural project awarded by the Malaysian Government to PUNCAK. Due to an excellent delivery, PUNCAK received recognition and was awarded the DVOR/DME system project at Penang International Airport.

DCA operates the Navigational Aids (Navaids) in KLIA since its inception over a decade ago. The Navaids systems supports the operation of DCA KLIA in the area of safe aircraft movement (to and from the airport) with high standards of operational availability and functionality set and required by the department.

SABAH SEA SURVEILLANCE

MALAYSIAN MARITIME ENFORCEMENT AGENCY


The Sabah Sea Surveillance System (SSS) Project for Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) was spearheaded by PUNCAK in 2010. This project, consist of (3) Three units of Remote Surveillance System (RSS) and a Main Monitoring System (MCC).

A large area of Interest located in the Eastern Sabah waters was faced with cross border threats, illegal immigrants, smuggling and illegal fishing.

The maritime domain surveillance of the Area of Responsibility (AOR) was monitored by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) to protect the national interest, using a number of advance technological tools, sensors and maritime operational enforcement strategies. The surveillance systems below covers the coastal waters of Sabah.

ROYAL MALAYSIAN NAVY
